How Do I Know If I Have a Balance Disorder? What Are the Symptoms?

Balance disorders can have a number of symptoms including:

  • A sensation of floating
  • Persistent dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Panic attacks
  • Pounding heartbeat
  • Blurred vision
  • Difficulty walking

Treating Balance Disorders

If we determine you have a balance disorder, we will discuss treatment options with you. We may recommend changes in diet, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, exercises to be done at home, or we may refer you to a specialist for treatment.
